Applications

Remote Power

With the CTP 250 watt and 2,000 watt products, consumers and businesses can rely upon clean, quiet power even when the application is miles from the electric grid. The CTP system runs on a range of inexpensive, replaceable fuels with much higher power densities than lithium ion batteries, so users can inexpensively operate lighting, communications, and other electronic equipment from virtually any location.

Worksite Power

Workers operating in enclosed or difficult-to-access environments must frequently work under significant power restrictions. Conventional combustion engine generators produce deadly carbon monoxide, and battery-operated power tools require frequent recharging. Using a standard 20-lb “barbeque” tank of propane, the CTP 250 watt product line can deliver over 90 continuous hours of power to the worksite with safe, indoor air quality-compliant emissions.

Emergency Power

Emergency workers often lack sufficient electric power when working in remote areas for catastrophe relief and search-and-rescue operations. Current internal combustion engine generators are noisy, generate significant ground-level pollution, require frequent oil and maintenance, and have a relatively short operating life. The CTP 250 watt and 2,000 watt systems are oil-free power units that can deliver several thousand hours of continuous power to units in the field before maintenance and without producing unsafe emissions.

Backup Power

Growing electricity loads and high power transmission maintenance costs have placed increasing demands on today’s electrical grid, and power outages have become increasingly common. The CTP 250 watt and 2,000 watt product lines provide residential homeowners and commercial business owners with sources of backup power that require little maintenance and that are inexpensive and silent to operate.
